This new event is a double edition! You will start the day off with a practical, hands on session learning the art of flower arranging from our expert; EleanorGriffiths. Then, after a delicious lunch, we will head to a boutique studio with our arrangements to create some maternity images worthy of the pages of a high end magazine! At the end of the day you will be able to take your floral creation home with you to enjoy! 

Our theme is capes and florals....think pinks, blacks, beiges, airy shots and some beautiful accessories. We have some incredible styling and our fantastic model, Xenia will be wearing two styled looks. Shooting time will be on a strict 121 timed basis so everyone has the same opportunity to work with our model.

How will the photoshoot work?

We will do three separate sets so you can get a variety of images for your portfolio:

Set 1. Simple maternity photoshoot with mirror balls/large artificial flowers/no props - you choose!
Set 2. Floral maternity photoshoot where each photographer will each shoot their own arrangement with our model
Set 3: Floral maternity photoshoot where we will put everyone's arrangements into the set together to create a beautiful scene within which our model will pose

Our Tutor

Our tutor for the day is Eleanor Griffiths, a Gold Medal winner at Chelsea Flower Show. Alongside teaching, she runs her own floral business doing weddings and special occasions. We will spend the morning at her Cheshire studio, before having lunch and then moving on to the photoshoot element of the day. The session is aimed at all abilities, so don't worry if you haven't ever done anything like this before!


We will each be creating a floral arrangement, similar to the below:

The Photo Studio:

It's the perfect location for an editorial shoot! Elements Studio is a small, intimate studio (bring a stool!) with a variety of backdrops. The address is: The Old Coach House, 8 Garden Lane, Chester, CH1 4EN

Our Model

Our amazing model is Xenia, an experienced model and one of the best in the UK. She is doing limited maternity shoots and then taking a break from modelling to have her baby, so do not miss this opportunity! She will be about 6.5 months pregnant at the time of our shoot.

Our Schedule

9.30 - 12.00: Flower arranging class (Postcode WA6 6XH)

12.00 - 12.45: Lunch

12.45 - 1.30: Travel to photo studio in Chester (CH1 4EN)

1.30 - 4.45 - Photoshoot

The photostudio is about 25 mins drive from our flower arranging session location. This is due to studios being scarce in this area. If you do not drive, and where possible, we will car share. If you do not drive, please let me know at the time of booking so I can ensure there is transport available for you. There is a car park next to the studio which is chargeable at £4.50 for the time you will need it. This is another reason why I recommend we car share where possible. There will be 4 car spaces available to travel with myself and the team.

Price for the day, including model fees, fees for our floral expert, studio and beautiful styling is £175. £50 deposit secures your spot, with the balance due on 1st February. Don't delay, book your space on this exciting event.
