Art Nouveau Studio Session with Sumptuous Styling & Sets Wigan Area 13th April 2025
Step back in time with us to the era of Art Nouveau. This is a brand new three hour event for photographers of all levels who want to create some authentic Art Nouveau images. We have two amazing models joining us and some very special themes, sets and styling. We also have an accessory and prop designer, Heather Guilmartin Shaw of Revivify, on board for this event.

Art Nouveau
Art Nouveau (1890-1910) was an exotic, decadent and ultimately contemporary departure from artistic tradition. Eschewing the tired and outdated historicism allied with classical architecture and design, artists purposely set out to revolutionise art and create something new – hence Art Nouveau. Artists such as Alphonse Mucha have garnered millions of fans, even many years later.
What to expect?
We will be holding this event in a two room studio in the Wigan area which has parking outside.
We will be splitting into two groups of 4 and each group will be working with one model for half the session and then will swap.There will be 4 shooting areas in use during the session, which will be three sumptuous Art Nouveau inspired indoor built sets and one environmental portrait set in the beautiful outdoor space which has a pond, trees and will provide more variety for your images. If the weather prevents going outside our fourth set will also be indoors, shooting against a backdrop.
I’ve deliberately kept group sizes small to ensure a relaxed shoot where everyone has the same opportunity to shoot on a 121 basis with our fabulous models. Here is our mood board which indicates the kind of styling you can expect on the day:
What is the cost?
The cost for each session is just £150 which includes studio fees, sets, model fees and styling. A £50 deposit secures your space, with the remaining due 14 days before.
Our Models
We are joined on the day by Fay and Janette. Both our models are experienced models and classical beauties, who will have their hair styled in an Art Nouveau style. Each will be wearing one Art Nouveau inspired outfit with accessories.
